The Art Conversation is a one-on-one consultation for homeowners who want art to feel more personal, intentional, and connected to the way they live.
You do not need to know anything about art. You do not need to know your “style.” And you certainly do not need everything in your home to match.
This conversation begins with what you love.
It can help you understand what draws you to certain artwork, work with pieces you already own, decide what belongs where, or find a direction when you know you want art in your home but have no idea where to begin.
Photos of the room or walls you are considering
Photos of artwork you already own
Artwork you are thinking about purchasing
Images of art you simply love, even if you do not know why
Room measurements or approximate wall dimensions, when helpful
A short description of anything you are struggling with or trying to decide
A scheduled 60-minute phone conversation
Experienced design perspective on your artwork, space, scale, placement, and overall direction
Help identifying what you are naturally drawn to and how that can guide your choices
Thoughtful guidance about incorporating art into your home without forcing it to match the room
A brief written recap of the key points discussed, sent within 48 hours of the call
You have artwork you love but are unsure where or how to place it.
You have blank walls and do not know where to begin.
You are considering buying a piece and want another perspective before committing.
You are struggling with size, scale, placement, framing, or how different pieces work together.
Or perhaps you simply want your home to feel more personal and believe art should be part of that story.
The Art Conversation is designed to make the best use of 60 minutes. You are welcome to send several images, questions, or pieces you would like to discuss before the call.
We will begin with what feels most important and allow the conversation to unfold from there.
Sometimes the answer is surprisingly simple. Other times one piece of art leads us somewhere completely unexpected. That is part of the conversation.
We will cover as much as we can within the scheduled time. If you would like additional help afterward, another Art Conversation can always be scheduled.
After the call, you will receive a brief written recap of the key ideas, observations, and suggestions discussed, sent within 48 hours.
The recap gives you something to refer back to as you continue making decisions. It is not a formal art appraisal, sourcing report, shopping list, installation plan, or ongoing email consultation.
The Art Conversation is about helping you develop confidence in choosing and living with art.
We may discuss artwork you already own, pieces you are considering, placement, scale, framing, grouping, room relationships, or ideas for finding something new.
It is not an appraisal, authentication, valuation, conservation, professional installation, or art brokerage service.
Most importantly, this is not about being told what you should like.
It is about discovering what speaks to you and finding a way to make room for it in your home.
Payment is required before the call is scheduled. Preparation begins once payment and any materials you choose to send have been received.
The Design Advisory Call is separate from the Kitchen Renovation Planning Guide and can be used for any room or design decision in your home.
This call is for homeowners who want an experienced design opinion before making a costly renovation, layout, product, finish, furnishing, or planning decision.
It is a good option when you want to talk through design questions before moving forward, especially if you feel unsure, overwhelmed, or concerned about making an expensive mistake.

You want an experienced opinion before committing to a direction, purchase, contractor conversation, furnishing decision, renovation plan, or larger design choice.
This call is designed to make the best use of 45 minutes. You are welcome to send a few questions or decisions you would like to discuss before the call. We will begin with what feels most important and cover as much as we can within the scheduled time.
Some questions can be answered quickly, while others may need more thought, review, or follow-up. If more time is needed, an additional Design Advisory Call can be scheduled.
After the call, you will receive a brief written recap of the key points discussed, sent within 48 hours.
The recap is intended to summarize the main takeaways and next steps so you have something to refer back to. It is not a full design report, drawing, product list, or ongoing email consultation.
If you are meeting with a contractor soon and need the recap more quickly, please let us know. We will do our best to accommodate a faster turnaround when possible.
This is a focused advisory call. It is meant to help you think more clearly before moving forward with a design decision, renovation question, product choice, layout concern, or larger planning issue.
It does not replace a full design plan, construction drawings, contractor estimate, code review, engineering, or ongoing design support.
Payment is required before the call is scheduled. Preparation begins once payment and any materials you choose to send have been received.
